The Girls
This is a book about one girl named Peggy and it's written from her point of view. She talks about her background and her life throughout the book. She lives in Denver, Colorado and is going to a boarding high school in Aspen, Colorado. This book is mainly about her and her friends and her work and her experience at this boarding school where there is a lot of drama and gossip in and out of her boarding school.
The main characters of this book are Peggy, Mary's best friend who is Peggy's roommate in their boarding school. She is very sweet and nice and is a loyal friend. Then there is Sylvia who also goes to the boarding school that Peggy and Mary go to. She is mean and very rich. Then there is Amber who works at the coffee shop that is right down the road from the boarding school and she has met all the movie stars and knowsall of the gossip. Then there is Crystal who works at Mod Jeans the popular clothing store in Aspen and she has something up her sleeve that everyone wants to know!
This book is a comedy about friendship love, and most importantly gossip! It's the kind of book that will make you think laugh and get excited, about reading.I liked this book very much and some members of my family read it and i definitely recommend it if you are a 12-15 year old girl. Its' a New York Times best seller and if you like food/cooking there is some great recipes at the end of the book that you will love!
